Powerslide Suzuki will return to the North West 200 this year, with rider and team principal Brad Clarke aboard its GSX-R1000R superstock machine.
The team's major focus this season is the National Sportbike Championship, in which it is running a two-rider effort with the Suzuki GSX-8R. However, the team is also no stranger to GSX-R1000R machinery - with experience in superstock and superbike racing - or the famous Triangle Circuit in Northern Ireland.
Clarke will be making his fourth appearance at the international road racing event, and is looking to continue building on his previous experience.
He said, "It is amazing to be going back to the North West 200 again. It would have been nice to showcase the GSX-8R but the new sportbike class rules haven't yet been adopted on the roads, but it is what it is.
"We have managed to put together a crew that is arguably the most experienced we have ever had, and also a huge thanks to Daz at Derby Alloys for the support, and also Dave Tyson.
"I am looking forward to going out and doing my best. The goal is to simply qualify and go faster than we did last year. We know the bike's capability and we've seen what results it can achieve thanks to the likes of Richard Cooper in the past. And I still feel that it is extremely important to showcase the GSX-R as it is still part of Suzuki's DNA."
