Asher Durham did the double at the weekend, taking two wins at Thruxton on his Powerslide Suzuki 8R.
Thruxton, famed for its high speed, was always going to produce close and intense racing, but Durham used the strengths of his 8R and strategy to ensure he was in a position to fight for the win on each occasion.

Durham - running a special livery over the weekend, with sponsorship from Lady Bella Chauffeur - qualified on the front row, with ROKiT Rookies Suzuki rider Carl Harris on pole.
In race one just over one and a half seconds covered the top eight, but Durham held a relatively commanding lead of two tenths of a second to take his third win of the season. Pole-sitter Harris was third.

Durham made it two from two and took his fourth win of the season in the final race, crossing the line just three hundredths of a second ahead of Harris, who took another podium in second place.
The win moved Durham to within 18 points of the championship lead with three rounds and four races to go.
