Roczen wins in Glendale

Ken Roczen raced his RM-Z450 to victory in Glendale, winning the main event at the fifth round of this year's AMA Supercross Championship.

Roczen made a good start to slot into second place early on, before making a pass for the lead on lap four. From there, he set the fastest lap of the race to pull a gap on the chasing pack, taking a dominant main event win.

The result saw him climb to second in the championship points standings.

He said following the win, "Our riding has been so good over these last few weeks, but we were lacking in the starts. So, we did a bunch of testing and I'm glad that we did, because it shows that we want to get better.

"We got a good start in the main event and we just had overall such good momentum. My bike worked great, and we were able to take it all the way to the checkered flag. To do it again in Arizona, this is my fourth win here, I kind of have to let it sink in a little bit on the flight home and enjoy this one."
