Ken Roczen took a race win and another podium in the AMA supercross championship, claiming second overall in Arlington.
Other than a DNF in Tampa, the result means Roczen has only finished off the overall podium once, and retains third in the championship standings.
Roczen made a good start in race one and hit the front through the whoops section, and advantage he held until the flag. Not quite making the getaway in race two he claimed a top-five finish, before taking another podium in race three to claim enough points for second overall.
He said afterwards, "Of course, out of three starts there has to be one bad one. That start in race two really hurt my overall. I did the best I could though and I’m happy with that. This dirt is probably my least favourite of the year. It looks good, it looks tacky, but it’s not.
"It was super fun being in that battle at the end, and overall, I’m happy to be on the podium. The championship is long, so we’ll keep getting on the podium and doing the best we can. Hopefully we can close the points gap."
