Suzuki GSX-8R machinery finished first and third in the weekend's Pirelli National Sportbike race at Brands Hatch, during the fifth round of the British Superbike Championship.
Championship leader Kas Beekmans - on the VLR / NIWA Racing Suzuki 8R - took an early race lead as he and rival Alfie Davidson cleared off at the front.
Behind, Asher Durham, on the Powerslide Suzuki 8R sat in third, and was closing the gap to the front. He hit the front just after the halfway stage, triggering a three-way fight for supremacy.
That fight grew into a six-rider dice for only three podium positions, with the last few laps of the race providing incredible racing.
A chaotic final lap saw Beekmans take the lead again through the GP section of the Brands Hatch circuit, and he held on to take the win. Durham had found himself relegated to fourth, but got the run out of Clearways to out-drag Ferre Fleerackers to take third.
Taylor Moreton, on the second Powerslide Suzuki 8R was in the top-10 in ninth place.
As a result the 8R continues to lead the championship by 55 points with Beekmans, with Durham third in the overall standings.
