TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
The Hayabusa’s 1,340cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine achieves an even better balance of overall performance, with greater efficiency and durability, while also satisfying Euro 5 emissions standards.
Inheriting the legacy of the Ultimate Sports Bike that established the category in 1999, the Hayabusa continues to deliver some of the highest torque and power at engine speeds typically used while road riding. A symbol of engineering pride and prowess, it is built to deliver the ultimate riding experience for the long run.
Suzuki worked closely with Bridgestone to develop the new BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres to meet the needs of the new Hayabusa. The tyres boast improved dry grip, better performance in wet conditions, greater all-round traction and agility, while retaining a great level of durability. Featuring a new compound and construction, the marked difference these tyres demonstrate in straight-line stability and cornering grip offers every rider a more exciting and confidence-building experience. The tyres are mounted on new 7-spoke wheels that not only look great, but also help improve grip feel too.
KYB inverted cartridge forks provide 120mm of front wheel travel and feature Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the 43mm inner fork tubes to reduce friction and improve reaction to small irregularities in the road surface. Spring preload, compression damping and rebound damping are all fully adjustable. The internal structure has been upgraded to better absorb the road surface and ensure an even smoother, more stable ride with optimum grip. The internal structure of the fully adjustable KYB link-type rear suspension is also revised to maximise comfort and straight-line stability.
Whether using it’s powerful 1,340cc power plant or simply standing still, the Hayabusa oozes speed. To further accentuate this quality, the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary comes complete with a colour matched single seat cowl as standard equipment.
At the core of this outstanding chassis is the Hayabusa’s aluminium frame and swingarm. A proven combination of extruded aluminium sections and aluminium castings lend the right amount of suppleness and strength to the overall rigid alloy frame structure. While more costly and demanding to fabricate, extruded aluminium sections achieve the overall balance required by a machine that delivers ultimate performance and reaches a nominal top speed of 186mph. The Hayabusa’s chassis is designed to empower you with sure footing, sharp handling and predictable control that combine to build confidence and enhance the riding experience. With its 50:50 weight distribution it effectively transfers the abundant power of its legendary powerplant to the road.
The Hayabusa uses Brembo’s latest Stylema® front brake calipers. Featuring a lighter, more compact and carefully sculpted design intended for use on high-performance motorcycles, these calipers increase airflow around the brake pads to cool more quickly and deliver immediate response. These are paired with front discs with a diameter of 320mm and featuring a hole pattern that helps optimise cooling efficiency.
Mounting the handlebars 12mm closer to the rider vastly improves comfort and reduces fatigue, particularly when touring or taking long rides. It also enhances handling when enjoying a sporty ride by giving the rider better feedback on how well the front tyre is gripping the road, by better supporting the rider’s posture to improve stability when braking, and by offering the rider greater freedom in movement to control cornering.

The Hayabusa’s vertically stacked low beam and high beam headlights are a full LED design. The distinctive signature of their lighting pattern provides clear illumination at night and makes the Hayabusa highly visible too. This area also includes fine details like the Japanese character for Hayabusa, these luxury touches can be found throughout the new Hayabusa’s design. LED position lights with integrated indicators, neatly flank the outer edges of the large SRAD air intakes, for a compact, sleek and modern look. At the rear, a bold LED taillight and rear indicator design creates a single wide, sharp accent running horizontally across the bottom of the tail section.
After the launch of the original in 1999, the Hayabusa’s striking aerodynamic silhouette has become instantly recognisable; nothing looks quite like a Hayabusa.
This special edition model celebrates 25 years and 3 generations of the category defining hyperbike. Boasting all the power, agility and technology of third generation machine and featuring a host of unique styling features to make it stand out from the crowd
The Hayabusa silhouette is unmistakeable, and now that silhouette is punctuated with a statement paint scheme of Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black. Beyond just colour this model also showcases an enamel 25th anniversary emblem on the fuel tank as well as a deeper section Suzuki logo here too. In other areas of the bike the scheme is complimented by black finish moulded trim panels and red V-shaped decals on the main fairing panels and the rear cowling.
Gold has always been befitting of royalty, and this king of speed is adorned with some bespoke gold coloured finishes as well as some laser etch details, to highlight this special machine. It begins at the front of the bike, where brake disc rotors have a gold finish inner. While at the rear the chain adjuster blocks are an anodised gold, these compliment the existing gold chain which on this model has the addition of the Hayabusa logo using it’s Japanese Kanji character. Also at the rear, both silencers, both silencers carry a laser etched Hayabusa English and Japanese logo for even more quality and detailing.
The Hayabusa 25th Anniversary edition retains the signature low, aerodynamic stance that has defined its legacy, yet it brings an extra layer of elegance and exclusivity. From its bold colour scheme to its custom 25th Anniversary insignia, this model captures the essence of Hayabusa while offering a unique, collectable aesthetic. With an aggressive, forward-leaning profile and opulent detailing, this edition stands ready to carry its riders through both the open road and a legacy of power, poise, and prestige.
Riders love the timeless layout, look and functionality of the Hayabusa’s instrument cluster. Now it benefits from the latest enhancements without losing any Hayabusa character or charm. Bigger, bolder numbering on the analogue tachometer and speedometer improve visibility, as does the backlit raised scale markings around the periphery. The jewel in the crown is the new colour TFT display mounted in the centre. In addition to the current SDMS-α systems settings, it features an active data display that enhances the ride by offering a bird’s-eye view of the bike’s current operating status. This includes real-time display of the lean angle, front and rear brake pressure, rate of acceleration and throttle position.
Aerodynamic performance is critically important on a motorcycle capable of reaching a top speed of 186mph. Extensive wind tunnel testing, full use of the latest Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and years of experience all contribute to achieving refined styling with which the rider and bike become one wind-cutting missile. The Hayabusa features one of the best drag coefficients found on any street legal motorcycle, while also achieving excellent Coefficient of Aerodynamic Drag (CdA) and lift values to maximise top speed potential and stability at top speed. By any measure, Ultimate Performance is what the Hayabusa is all about.

* | Fuel economy was measured by Suzuki in the Worldwide Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC). Exhaust emissions measuring conditions measured by Suzuki. Actual fuel economy and riding range may differ owing to differences in conditions such as the weather, road, rider behaviour and maintenance. |
† | Torque conversions to imperial units (in brackets) are approximate and included as a guide only. |
¹ | ABS is not designed to shorten the braking distance. Please always ride at a safe speed for road and weather conditions, including while cornering. On the Hayabusa brake pressure is optimised while cornering. |
² | Traction control system is not a substitute for rider’s throttle control under the various conditions, and traction control cannot prevent loss of traction due to excessive speed when entering turns, or while braking, and it does not control front wheel traction. |
