The chassis features a compact, lightweight package that makes the GSX-S950 agile and predictable to handle. Its twin-spar aluminium frame helps deliver easy handling and great road holding ability, while its straight main tubes are ideal for achieving high rigidity and low weight. All this connects to a ruggedly braced aluminium swingarm that further contributes to the road gripping character that lets you ride with confidence.

The GSX-S950 has high specification radial-mount Tokico monobloc calipers. The calipers each have four opposed 30mm pistons acting on a 310mm floating-mount disc for strong stopping power, giving you the confidence and freedom to enjoy all the GSX-S950 engine and chassis has to offer.

Cast aluminium wheels feature sporty good looks and a rigid lightweight structure, in a six spoke design. These are fitted to Dunlop’s new SPORTMAX Roadsport 2 radial tyres, these benefit from an updated internal structure custom engineered to perform optimally on the GSX-S950, as well as an optimised tread pattern with a new compound that enhances positive grip in wet conditions, warms up faster, and wears better. The combination of these wheels and new tyres works harmoniously with the front and rear suspension settings to help realise the great grip, stability and quick handling.

In addition to the prominent headlight, the GSX-S950 uses a rear thin, flatly shaped rear combination light with LEDs for high visibility and long life. It is a double lens design that emphasises the stylish lines of the compact tail section.

The goal of the design concept is to visually express the potential of a motorcycle capable of such performance, and to convey the refinement and sophistication of a product designed to handle more predictably, with greater controllability on any type of ride.
