Suzuki 3 Year Warranty
All new Suzuki On-Road motorcycles officially imported into the United Kingdom by Suzuki GB PLC and first registered in the UK between 01-01-2016 and 31-12-2019 will benefit from an additional one year extension to the normal Two-Year Suzuki Warranty, such one year Warranty extension to apply subject to the following conditions:
Warranty extension only applies to such motorcycles which are regularly serviced through a UK Authorised Suzuki Dealer, in accordance with the schedule in the Owner’s Manual; and in the UK only, for one year commencing from expiry of the normal Two-Year Suzuki Warranty, and only for motorcycles which are kept in the UK during the Warranty extension period; If you are a consumer, this extended Warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described.
All new Suzuki Motorcycles are fitted with Datatag’s Security System as standard under the MASTER Security Scheme.
The Industry MASTER Security Scheme, launched in January 2013 by the Motorcycle Industry Association and supported by the Police and many of the top brands in the UK, recently announced some impressive theft reduction figures that show clearly how effective the Scheme has already become in the fight against theft. Since its launch over 52,000 new machines have been protected by the Scheme and its’ Datatag powered technology. Figures released by the Police show that since this date just 403 registered machines have been reported stolen - an astonishingly low theft rate of just 0.76%. Compared to reported theft figures of non-marked bikes this shows that MASTER protected machines are nearly 4 times less likely to be stolen than those not protected.
AA Suzuki Assistance
If you've been a Suzuki rider for a long time, you'll no doubt have noticed that our motorcycles go from strength to strength. In fact we pride ourselves on designing and producing some of the most reliable motorcycles you can buy. Unfortunately we still haven't produced a key that's impossible to lose, a flat tyre that pumps itself up, or a motorcycle that keeps going when you've run out of petrol. But until we get these points mastered, we have our AA Suzuki Assistance Team. In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you can give us a call on 0800 917 0656, and help will be on its way.
AA Suzuki Assistance is available with every new Suzuki On-Road Motorcycle from the date of purchase for 1 year and covers the following…
- Roadside Assistance - If the machine cannot be repaired at the roadside, then arrangements will be made to take it to the nearest authorised Suzuki Dealer or another destination of your choice.
- Home Start - This will bring help to your doorstep. Like Roadside Assistance, if it cannot be repaired at your home the AA will transport your machine to the nearest authorised Suzuki Dealer or another destination of your choice.
- Relay - If a prompt local repair at the roadside is not possible, we will arrange onward passage for you, one passenger and your machine (including trailer/side-car on tow at any time, all subject to restrictions and eligibility) to any single mainland UK destination. This includes The Isle of Man, Northern Island and the Channel Islands; however, any ferry costs must be borne by you.
- Message Service - If you wish, we can also get a message to a relative or colleague to let them know what is happening.
Of course, we hope you never actually have to use any of them; but isn't it good to know they're there?
Applicable to the UK only (including The Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands). For those wishing to obtain cover for touring Europe then please click here.
