WHAT IS ACCIDENT AFTERCARE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

No. We will notify your insurer of the accident and confirm which Suzuki Approved Repair Centre it will be repaired at and repairs will be carried out by a Trained Technician.
If you don’t call Suzuki First, your insurer will dictate where your motorcycle will be repaired and it will be too late for you to exercise your right to choose.
No. This is a free service. There’s no catch, we simply manage the claim on your behalf. If the accident is not your fault, we recover all costs from the other party’s insurer. Similarly, there is no extra cost if the accident was your fault. If you have comprehensive insurance, your only liability is any uninsured cost, such as policy excess.
When you call us, we fill in a claim form over the telephone. If you are missing some details, we investigate on your behalf. It’s very simple.
Definitely not. Any increase in your next premium will be no more than if the insurer’s repair centre carried out the repair.
Suzuki wants to help customers at a time of stress and inconvenience. We also have a duty of care to ensure that customers’ motorcycles are repaired to the highest standard.
Even the smallest of scrapes. For any accident, no matter how small, you should always call Suzuki First.
AA roadside assistance
If you've been a Suzuki rider for a long time, you'll no doubt have noticed that our bikes go from strength to strength. In fact, we pride ourselves on designing and producing some of the most reliable bikes you can buy. Unfortunately, we still haven't produced a key that's impossible to lose, a flat tyre that pumps itself up, or a bike that keeps going when you've run out of petrol. But until we get these points mastered, we have our AA Suzuki Assistance Team. In the event of a breakdown or an accident, you can give us a call on 0800 917 0656, and help will be on its way.
AA Suzuki Assistance is available with every new Suzuki on-road motorcycle from the date of registration for 1 year and covers the following:
Roadside Assistance - If the machine cannot be repaired at the roadside, then arrangements will be made to take it to the nearest authorised Suzuki Dealer or another destination of your choice.
Home Start - This will bring help to your doorstep. Like Roadside Assistance, if it cannot be repaired at your home the AA will transport your machine to the nearest authorised Suzuki Dealer or another destination of your choice.
Relay - If a prompt local repair at the roadside is not possible, we will arrange onward passage for you, one passenger and your machine (including trailer/sidecar on tow at any time, all subject to restrictions and eligibility) to any single mainland UK destination. This includes The Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands; however, any ferry costs must be borne by you.
Message Service - If you wish, we can also get a message to a relative or colleague to let them know what is happening.
Of course, we hope you never actually have to use any of them; but isn't it good to know they're there?
Applicable to the UK only (including The Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands). For those wishing to obtain cover for touring Europe then please click here.
