RAMETTE RETURNS FROM INJURY

RAMETTE RETURNS FROM INJURY TO WIN PRO HEXIS SX

Back to news

SR75 Suzuki’s Thomas Ramette continued his comeback from a knee injury at the Las Vegas SX in May with three Main Event wins at the Pro Hexis SX Championship in La Bosse-de-Bretagne at the weekend.

RM-Z450-mounted Ramette was able to complete his first full week of riding and testing in over two-and-a-half months and his preparation paid off when he dominated the event which follows a three Main Event format.

The technical track was a great test for the Frenchman, and after qualifying second, he was unstoppable in all three finals.

Ramette, said, “Tonight was incredible. I felt a little tense in the early training and the first Main Event but my confidence in myself and my intensity on track grew through the night show. This is the perfect return and although I am not 100 per cent, I know we are working in the right direction. I cannot thank everyone involved enough. We are all working for each other every day and the SR75 family grows stronger each day.”

Team Manager Geoff Walker, said, “To have Thomas come back in this form is a dream. He has worked really hard to be this strong on his return from an injury which was really unfortunate for us as a team. Thomas’ work ethic has brought him back to the races at an insane level and I am so proud of him. We are grateful to all our incredible team partners and technical sponsors who believe in everything we do and enjoy our successes with us.”

The next round of the series takes place at Chaumont on August 25th.
